Margie Hemphill

Margie has worked with children, many with special needs, in educational, recreational, and aquatic programs since 1970. Her degrees are in Early Childhood Development, Recreation Business Adm, and an ECE teaching credential. Her education, work experience, and aquatic background led her to develop the curriculum for Little One's Swim's infant and early childhood aquatic programs. The modern day early childhood swim curriculum is based upon the groundwork of Margie and her fellow peers from the early 70's. Margie is proud to have been one of the pioneers of an early childhood approach to teach babies to swim. She continues to this day to teach her method, train, share, and exchange information internationally.
